Christine Harpel's
1st Cookie Exchange

Monrovia, CA -2001
Dear Robin,
My first cookie exchange party in 2001 was somewhat of a
disappointment since I had invited at least two dozen people
and only four people attended
(two of them being my husband and my mother-in-law)!
It was a good learning experience though
and I've had more success since then.
Cookies that were made that year were:
Walnut Cookies, Aunt Stellas Butterscotch Prickles,
Fudge Cookies, Gingerbread loaves, fudge,
and of course Gingerbread Men.
My party favors were jars of cookie mixes and a
cross-stitched gingerbread man magnet on a clothespin.
Enjoy!
Sincerely,
Christine Harpel
