Hello! I wanted to share a few photos with you from my 2nd Annual Cookie Exchange. It was so much fun! I always do a cookie-themed invitation, and hold the party on the 2nd Sunday in December.

Each party-goer brings 6 dozen cookies or bars. 20 women came to swap, and 5 lucky guys came to judge. I always do a dinner and exchange. While the ladies dined on chili, cornbread and salad, the guys were in the other room judging the entries for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

After we're done eating, the guys come out, announce the winners, dole out the prizes and then eat while we exchange the goodies. I give everyone a platter for their cookies (a fun tradition!) and then we swap until all of the cookies are gone.

I buy all of the platters and gifts for the following year at after-Christmas sales. This allows me to give really cute gifts without spending a lot. I did tin trays last year--this year, we're doing decorated glass platters.
