Shari Lambert's
Cookie Exchange

Beale Air Force Base, Ca

I attached some pictures I hope you can open them ok! Here is some of what we did at the Exchange.

We played the right and left game with a thick candy cane which we passed around with our knees! One of the lady's was pregnant, so that made it extra interesting, we had a blast with this game! We all enjoyed the finger foods and sat around sharing stories of our family traditions and shared our recipes as well.

Our theme for the Exchange was Gingerbread Man, I made up a bunch of little gingerbread men and trees which were made from white glue and cinnamon, I cut them out with little cookie cutters poked a little hole threw them and baked them in the oven for 20 min. The house smelled so good! I then strung them on a long piece of thin ribbon and hung them up around my house in the door ways and under my counter top, everyone left with a string of this garland for around their Christmas tree!

We also played a game called Catch Phrase, this game is a big hit at any party you can get it from Toys R Us, Walmart or Target to name a few.

I made up Gingerbread necklaces with little Resin gingerbread men that I found at Walmart in the ornament section, I used the same thin ribbon I used for the garland for the necklace, they turned out really cute!

The game was who ever said cookie had to give up there necklace and the lady at the end of the night with the most necklaces won a prize. We really had a wonderful time.

We are all looking forward to the 2007 Cookie Exchange. Thank you Robin for sharing your wonderful ideas and all your time!

Best Wishes Always,
