Anita Tighe's
1st Cookie Exchange

Cupertino, California

Dear Robin,

I am so glad I stumbled across your web page last September when I was seriously considering doing something fun like hosting a grand Cookie Exchange Party. Your tips were invaluable as were the pictures of "Christmas Pasts" to help this very visual learner pull it all off.

Fun was had by all, and it really just comes down to the gals gathering for a big "cackle fest" as my dad would call it. I guess, you put women together in a pretty room, toss in a few appetizers and that is all you need! The heart of each and every woman makes it all a blessing.

I served my famous homemade toffee, a crab dip, egg salad sandwiches, chocolate cake, spinach cranberry salad and fudge. YUM.

I had about 25 gals show up on and off due to varying schedules and it was incredible.

The highlight of the celebration was the ugly Christmas jewelry contest. You would not believe what came walking through the front door! The winner was my friend Linda for the most hideous pointsettia earrings one has ever seen. Who knows what we're going to do next year...

Take a look at the photos and see for yourself!

God bless,

Anita Tighe
