Hi Robin,
I was just starting to think about this year's exchange, when I realized
I never submitted last year's photos. 2006 was my third year hosting, and
my home was bursting with 21 people. We had several women ask to bring a
guest, which just shows what a universally great idea this is! I decided
after the party that for 2007 I would limit it to the first 12 ppl who RSVPd.
Well, lo and behold we moved to another state in May, so I don't think that
will be a problem.
My 3rd annual exchange was held Sunday 12/10/06 from
3-5pm. I served hot and cold appetizers, wine, and coffee. We voted on the
"Most Festive" cookie, and the "Most Butter Used." Both contests were really
fun, and I gave away a little Christmas-themed bag of goodies to each
winner.
Now I get to introduce a whole new crowd of bakers
to the fun of the exchange, in my new town!
