I hosted my 3rd annual cookie party this year. I always plan for a Saturday lunch time near Christmas. This way the participants can have cookies to take to holiday parties, etc. This year I had 2 different soups on hand. We had Potato Soup with all the fixins and Chili to warm everyone up. We also had corn muffins, a sandwich tray, and a mandarin orange cake made by my great aunt.

We played the white elephant game with gifts I have picked up throughout the year. I gave a prize for most festively dressed and best cookie.

Aunt Opal dressed up as Ms. Claus this year. I’m pictured below in my light up earrings and my “I’m on Santa’s Diet” Shirt. I do not have a group picture but I have been taking individual pictures each year and I sit out the scrapbook page from the previous year for the participants to view.

Thanks so much for all the great ideas and all the wonderful pictures of cookie parties. I love looking through them to get ideas!!! I can’t wait to implement the Most Festive Sock idea next year.
