Happy new year to you. We held our 4th annual cookie exchange on the last Sunday in November 2009 which, as with previous years, was a great success. It was hosted on this occasion by my cousin Carmel and we essentially had the same group of friends as in previous years. It seems that with each year passing the group are becoming more adventurous with their cookies and their packaging. This year we had an award for the most impressive packaging and the hostess won that. We also played the left/right game and exchanged Christmas ornaments. Next year's cookie exchange has already been booked in. It is an annual event we all look forward to and a lovely way of catching up with friends before things become too hectic prior to Christmas.
