Dear Robin,

I came across your website last summer and really appreciated the creative ideas and inspiration you've generously shared. I have been hosting a cookie exchange every year since I first saw the Food Network special, and 2009 was my 3rd in my new home in Tamiment, Pennsylvania.

I always have a "girl's only" party, as it gives us a chance to spend some time together without our husbands and children. This year our party was held on Wednesday, December 9th, and as you can see, the joke was on us because the kids had a snow day off from school! Needless to say they were very happy to decorate their very own cookies.

We had 11 ladies come to share their best baked treats. Some of us are accomplished bakers, some of us are novices, and to some of us, the thought of baking "all those cookies" is really overwhelming!

This year EVERYONE rose to the occasion and did a beautiful job, and we had a great time having brunch, sipping a lot of mimosas, playing games, and tasting all of those delicious cookies.

Prizes were awarded and a good time was had by all. Some of the girl's that come to the party have been with me from the beginning, we had some newcomers this year, and most have already told me to put them on the invite list for this year!

I would like to thank all of the girl's for their kindness, generosity, and friendship. I am truly blessed to have such smart, funny, strong, and wonderful women to call my friends.
