Hello Robin,

I hosted my first cookie exchange on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 7:30pm. I had 10 ladies including myself attend. Each person was asked to bring 4 dozen cookies. We had light appetizers of cocktail meatballs, pita chips with roasted red pepper hummus, and taco dip with tortilla chips. I also served an alcoholic & non alcoholic version of a drink called Peppermint Martinis.

Here are the following cookies that were exchanged: Golden Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies, Neiman Marcus Cookies, Peppermint Snowballs, Chocolate Caramel Surprises, Iced Lemon Cookies, Gingerbread Men, Spice Cookies, Assorted Sugar Cookies, and Peanut Butter Muddy Buddies.

I split up a few of each of the cookies so we could all sample & vote on the "Best Tasting" & "Best Looking" cookie. The winners (Best Tasting: Iced Lemon Cookies & Best Looking: Gingerbread Men) received a $5 Starbucks gift card. We had a wonderful time & I plan to make this an annual tradition.

Your website was a HUGE help to me & I also love that you can view other people's photos so that you can get ideas. Hope you had a Merry Christmas!
