Hello, Robin!

Another great Cookie Exchange this year...my 7th annual, and most

enjoyable so far. Thankfully, the first snowstorm of the year (about

two feet of the stuff) was the weekend before my exchange so I didn't

have any weather-related crises. Fifty or so of my closest family and

friends gathered at my home on December 23rd with gorgeous cookie

displays in hand, unbelievable appetizers and a definite readiness to

PARTY (schools had been closed, due to the snow, for three days prior

and many of us needed OUT ; ) We enjoyed the food and beverages, each

other's company, and the spirit of the holiday season. Votes were

tallied and the best cookie awards went to Lisa DelMonte (stained

glass cookies - prettiest) and Karin Johansen (mice on cheddar wedges

- most creative...her husband works in the cheese industry).

Thanks for sharing all of the glorious Cookie Exchange stories/photos

again this year. I've enjoyed the regular newsletters and all of the

fun tips and tidbits you've shared.
