Dianna Lewis' 9th Cookie Exchange

Hi Robin!

I wanted to share these and tell you about The Exchange I do. First let me share with you that my Exchanges have become better with each one, due to you. You are inspiring and provide a space for the Bakers! I admire and applaud you! Over the past 9 years, my exchanges have grown and changed, inspired with your help and the other bakers out there!

My Cookie Exchange Bakers get a lot of motivation from by way of the internet..a countdown..ideas..etc..Each Baker is asked to bring an extra dozen that will be donated to a charity of choice that year. (Sometimes it has been Seniors, shut-ins, a local boy whose only parent suddenly passed, Battered Shelter Safe Houses, Police and Fire Depts..)

2008 was one of my favorite years, we had 12 Bakers and each Baker donated even more cookies to the Charity. Sporting Santa hats in our Cookie Sleigh (Camry) , my daughter and I delivered cookies all over our city. They were unexpected and so the looks were priceless. Seniors, the Police, Food Bank, has me looking forward to 2010 10th anniversary!!

Currently I am working at getting the city to give us the local party center to bake and host a Giant Exchange for the Community, in need. What a great way to celebrate my 10th anniversary of hosting cookie exchanges. I'll let you know how it goes. Of coarse I will be looking for LOTS of Bakers!! :)) Thanks so much for your inspiring site and all our cookie loving sisters and brothers out there.
Warmly, Dianna Lewis
