Cathie Wallace's 8th Cookie Exchange
Brodheadsville, PA

Hi Robin,

On December 11th, I held my 8th Cookie Exchange. We had 15 gals total, 11 which were bakers. Each gal brought 10 dozen cookies for a total of 110 dozen!!!!! Chocolate Crackle Tops, Lemon Thins, Chocolate Scotcharoos, Pistachio Cresents, Butter Cookies, Carmel Swirls, Peanut Butter/Chocolate Chips, Thin Mints, Italian Anisette Cookies, Ice Box Cookies, and Aunt Mary's Pumpkin Spice Cookie.

We played Match the Cookie game, and a few games of Christmas Bingo. Prizes were also given for the 1st to RSVP, guessing how many chocolate kisses in the candy jar, and a beautiful basket filled with Coffee, cocoa, teas, a Christmas CD, candles and candy to the most festivally dressed gal. That was Corinna who you see Dressed as an adorable elf, she was also our youngest baker and first time attendee who really was in the spirit.

We had a terrific appetizer buffet and some great desserts. I am already planning for 2011. It was so lovely to meet you at The North Arlington Library for your book signing. What a fabulous book!!!!

Again, the day of the exchange goes so quickly, but worth everything we put into it. What a terrific day with dear friends.

Thank you Robin for posting all of our pictures. You have started such a wonderful tradition. Wishing everyone a peaceful and blessed New Year.
