A New Left/Right Game
By Debbie Stolpman, Reno, Nevada

Last Christmas Mrs. Wright decided to host a Christmas Cookie Exchange! She wanted it to turn out just right! She had heard of a website called "Robin's Cookie Exchange" so went right to the computer, right to the source for the right information. She thought to herself "Robin left nothing untold!" This website was just right!

Mrs. Wright picked the right night for her cookie exchange and left no one off her list and sent out invites to all the right friends and Wright family members.

She made homemade Christmas type cookies the night right before the party so they would be fresh. She left out ingredients like crackers as she had asked of her guests. She asked Mr. Wright to taste them. "Hmmm" he said. "Tastes just right!"

The night of her exchange she left work early for home. She made her family left overs and left them each a special treat of one of her Christmas cookies as they left the house to go see a movie. She then went right to work.

She had prepared everything ahead of time with not much left to do. One by one and right on time, her friends and members of the Wright family arrived-- each person thinking they had the right cookie for the win!

Food and drink were left out for each guest. During the party, of course, Mrs. Wright played the right/left game. That could not be left out! According to Robin's Cookie Exchange website, the left/right game is one of the more popular ones to play! Of course there's always the left/right ornament game too!

Everyone googled at the sight of all the beautiful and tasty looking cookies right on the table! And, when the right time arrived, Mrs. Wright announced the winner for the "Best Christmas cookie that looks and tastes just right!"

What was left was the event of the night--the Christmas cookie exchange-- where cookies are picked left then right then left then right until there would be no more cookies left on each tray! At that moment what was left was contentment. Everyone thought this is just right!

As each guest left with their dozens of cookies in tow, each said their thanks to Mrs. Wright. But, just as the first guest stepped right out the door, Mrs. Wright then said "oops!-you left your prize right over there!"

Right about then Mrs. Wright knew her Christmas cookie exchange party had worked out just right because as each guest left, each also exclaimed, "You'll have to do this again next year!" Mrs. Wright said, "Yes, you are right! "
