Left/Right Game
By Joy Worthy
On this day I was on a mission.  One that would be a challenge but I knew it would turn out right since I got up on the right side of the bed.  My mission: to find a gift for Coach Wright, the football coach.  It wouldn’t be easy to find just the right gift for Coach Wright. My list of ideas only had a few left after crossing most of them off.

I right away phoned my daughter to see if she would have any time left in the early day to go with me.  Good!  She’s right with me on this one and she left to come and pick me up!  Once we hit the road my daughter was driving like a maniac to get to the mall, knowing we didn’t have a lot of time left – weaving in and out of traffic, first to the left, then to the right, back to the left and then to the right

She almost missed the left turn to get to the mall!  We found the right area to park in and away we went.  With not too many ideas to choose from we were bombing out right and left. We ended up settling on a jacket that we would have embroidered with “Coach Wright” – Football the “Wright” Way!  The guy said it would take him a couple of hours to do the embroidering so we decided to go to one of my favorite restaurants that happened to be right in the mall!

With about one hour left before we could pick up Coach Wright’s jacket we indulged in a little personal shopping and we lost track of time.  Time was of the essence to make it back right on time before the embroidery shop closed.  We did it!  The jacket was done with no time left to spare.  It read:  Coach “Right” Football the “Right” Way!  OMG!

There wasn’t any time left for the shop to do it over and we had to present it to Coach Wright as it was, right or wrong.  As it turned out Coach Wright had a sense of humor.  He left the football banquet proudly sporting his new jacket.  Moral of the story, if you want something done right you have to hire a woman!
