Hi Robin,
I had my 1st Cookie Exchange Party last December 2005 and am in charge of
this year's exchange as well which will be held at 1 of my sister's house.
We had 16 girls and 1 sent cookies along because of the snow storm we had
that afternoon and she couldn't get out of her driveway.
It was a huge success thanks to your website that I found.
We served appertizers and cocktails and soft drinks and after the swap we
had chinese food delivered. Everyone loved it.
We played the left, right game with the ornements that each person brought
and it was very funny.
I also gave prizes for presentation, and difficulty and of course most festive
dressed.
This year will be a little different so we can have a few surprises for the
guests, but the focus is about the cookies. We don't allow choc. chip, plain
peanutbutter,or plain sugar cookies as we want the girls to be creative!
And they were!!!!!!!
THis year the exchange will be on Dec. 10th Sunday at 4:00pm.and hope will
surpass last years. Thanks so much for all of your suggestions, recipes,
and most of all the pictures.
I will send this years as soon as we have it!!!!
HAPPY BAKING EVERYONE!!!!!!!
