Christine Harpel's 5th Cookie Exchange Covina, CA -2005 Dear Robin, Attached are a few photos from my 5th Annual Cookie Exchange Party which was held December 10th, 2005. This year there were 15 of us in attendance on another sunny day in Southern California. Despite the warm weather, we played Christmas music and drank some spiced cider to help get us in the Christmas mood. We had a wide variety of cookies -- some of which included: Peanut Butter Balls, Chocolate-Raspberry Cookies, Coconut Macaroons, Peppermint Cookies, Butterscotch Nut Fudge, Uncle Clark's Cookies, S'mores Bars, Brownie Tartlets, Gingerbread Men, Toll House Cookies, Mini Oreo Cheesecakes, and Shortbread. (As soon as everyone left the party, I sampled each kind of cookie!) Party favors and copies of the recipes were given to each guest who attended the party. Since this year was my 5th Annual Cookie Exchange Party I gave a gingerbread man pot holder to a friend who has been the only one to attend all five gatherings, and a gingerbread man mini-pillow to another friend who is always a huge help to me with last-minute preparations and the clean up.
