‘Tis the season of festivities and cheer

It’s time to start baking, for December is here!

Come over for friends, and stay for the fun

The good times keep coming, they’ve just begun.

You must bake 10 doz’n cookies of any ole type

And bring them to Kelsey’s at 5 in the night.

Gingersnaps, bon-bons, or melt-aways might do,

But make sure they’re homemade and bring the recipe, too.

The evening will start with a petite winter’s dine

Then we’ll play games until half way to 9.

 Of course, don’t forget the treats you came bearing

The cookies are swapped in a kind act of sharing.

We’ll have fun and laugh the whole night away

It happens December 16^th, indeed mark that day.
