Activity: Brenda helped us make beaded Christmas bracelets.
Gift: I made a CD with 20 of my favorite Christmas songs for each
guest.
Favors: I made pinecone penguins which were part of the table decorations.
Game: Purse Scavenger Hunt. Teri and Cindy each won a bag of Mary
Englebriet penguin stationary items.
Prizes: Most Festive Cookie
Judy won the Penguin Cookie Jar +
cookie cookbook for her Christmas cut out sugar cookies.
Most Festive Cookie Display
Cindy won penguin dishes, cups and
salt and pepper shakers + a Christmas decoration book for her country tray
of Cherry Tassies.
Most Festively Dressed Person
.was Carol Ann in her beautiful
Christmas Tree Sweater. She won a penguin nightshirt, sock slippers and a
mystery book The Penguin Who Knew Too Much.
Food: Hot BBQ chicken wings, broccoli salad, ambrosia, chile/cream
cheese dip and crackers, olive penguins, Wassail.
Guests: There were no cancellations! All eleven ladies who signed
up attended.
Thank you Gifts: Hallmark ornament (Penguin angel) and Sees
Candy Egg Nog Truffles to Brenda for helping with the bracelets. And also
for my sister, Dorris, for helping me so much every year. Penguin night light
and Beanie Baby to Sylvia for doing the dishes.

Sugar Cookies, Russian Teacakes, Spritz wreaths, Macaroons, Persimmon drops,
2 Cherry Tassies, and popular Bourbon Balls. (No chocolate cookies this year.)
