Hello Robin,
I just love your website! I live in Olive Branch, MS and this year was my
2nd annual cookie exchange. We had 11 swappers even after the 5 cancellations.
When each girl arrived they got a Christmas themed necklace. We enjoyed multiple
appetizers and then played some games. We played a word unscramble game,
straw relay game, rip the Christmas tree shape behind your back, Dirty Santa,
and also by popular demand from last year we played the pantyhose Reindeer
game.
This year for the pantyhose game I had each team alternate the balloon colors
and then also put on a Rudolph nose to change it up a little from last year.
Everyone had a blast and loves that game!!
We had contests for Best Dressed and Most Creative Cookie display. The dress
theme was wackiest Christmas attire. Beth won best dressed again this year.
This time dressed up as a wrapped present! It was so adorable. The prize
for best dressed was a pair of red/green and white striped Christmas gloves.
2nd place for best dressed went to Julie and Precious for dressing up like
elves.
Most creative went to Precious for her beautifully lit tree with star shaped
sugar cookies hanging from it and then individual gold star packages of cookies
underneath. The prize for most creative was an apron with "Most Creative"
on it. Everyone did such a great job with their cookie displays. Everyone
left with goody bags filled with candy and also Snowman soup idea that I
got from your website.
Also everyone left with a recipe book of the cookies brought to the party.
Everyone is already looking forward to next year's party and wondering what
my theme will be. Thanks for sharing all the great ideas on your website!
I am the one in the group picture with the Christmas cook hat and Santa apron.
