I had my exchange the 1st sunday of December and I had 19 ladies. Everyone
brought 7 dozen cookies, 6 for exchange and 1 dozen for dessert and to taste
for judging. None of the girls had ever been to a cookie exchange before
and everyone had a blast!
I had prizes for best cookie, best cookie presentation, and best Christmas
outfit. I had an appetizer buffet with a spiral ham and made little sandwiches.
I also made the peppermint punch I got on your website. It was very good!
We played games. A trivia christmas movie game, Seven/Eleven dice game with
prizes wrapped in giftwrap. That game really went over big. We then had the
ornament exchange game where you can pick a gift wrapped gift on the table
or steal an opened one from someone else. That was a lot of fun! We then
taste tested all the yummy cookies!
While everyone was tasting the cookies the ladies voted for the three prize
groups. Then it was time for the cookie exchange. I had over 1700 hundred
cookies in my house. My house smelled like a bakery. I made snowman soup
for my favors. They turned out so cute.
Thank you Robin for your wonderful website and all your great ideas. At the
end of the party everyone cheered and said they want to do this again next
year. I've already started planning it.
