I just had my first ever cookie exchange this past Saturday (December 12). It was a lot of fun and turned out well for my first one.

I had 10 participants including myself. Three of the ten couldn’t make it but still brought cookies. I served some simple snacks and drinks and we played a couple of games (cookie match and guess the item in the stocking). I then had all the guests vote for the best displayed cookies and the winner received a cookie tin filled with Bath and Body Works products. After that we did the exchange. It was fun to go around the table and hear everyone talk about how heavy their containers were because of all the cookies!

Thank you so much for your ideas and suggestions and for posting other peoples’ exchanges. I am already getting excited for next year!!
