On December 5th I had my second cookie exchange. Again everyone had
a great time. My theme was gingerbread men. I raffled out four gift baskets. The
ladies earned tickets for following all the rules of the cookie party. Being
on time. Bringing recipe card, Being festively dressed, etc.
We also had prizes for best cookie, best presentation of cookie, best decorated
cookie and most festively dressed. We had an appetizer lunch then we played
the balloon reindeer game. What a blast that was! We then had an ornament
exchange.
Then we voted on all the categories and then ate our cookies. I had a separate
table with a dozen of each cookie for taste testing. Then we exchanged the
cookies. Everyone really worked hard on their cookies and displays. It was
a beautiful long table with over 2200 cookies!
I made cake balls in little containers with a mini cookie cutters and a poem
and cookie recipe books from last years cookie exchange for favors. I work
on this party all year long and love every minute of it. I already have a
theme and decorations for next years party .It wouldn't be the success it
was without all the help I got from Madelyn, Leah, Missy and Rene.
