Happy Holiday's Robin!
I held my 10th Annual Cookie Exchange Party on Saturday, December 11,
2010 with 11 people in attendance. Seven people were first time attendees
including a new friend I made the previous weekend attending a Cookie Swap
in our area that we each found via your blog -- it was fun to get to be a
guest vs. hostess for once!
We have not had much snow yet in Colorado so we enjoyed a sunny day with
temps in the 40s. We also enjoyed a Crockpot Morning Casserole, sweet 'n
sour lil' smokies, cheese, crackers, veggies, dip, banana chocolate chip
bread, and some fun jello 'stained glass window' squares along with coffee,
Christmas punch, and egg nog.
All of the cookies this year were delicious including the Chocolate-Dipped
Triple-Coconut Macaroons, Chocolate Chip-Almond-Cherry Cups, Chocolate Crinkle
Cookies, Peanut Butter Cup Cookies, Oreo Truffles, Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies,
Cranberry-Coconut Chews, Andes Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cherry Bonbon
Cookies, Toffee, Mint Dark Chocolate Fudge, Christmas Wreaths, and Candy
Cane Chocolate Covered Sugar Cookies.
Thank you for your fun newsletter and I'm looking forward to trying lots
of recipes from your new cookbook this holiday season!
Merry Christmas!
