I live in an apartment and was limited in my ability to invite too many,
but we had 8 total in attendance. I asked guests, if they could, to wear
their comfy pajamas and Christmas socks and house shoes. I gave gifts of
Holiday Scentsy warmers to the favorite PJs (voted by all in attendance)
and a second runner up as well.
We broke up into teams of four and played the Reindeer Game. It was a blast
and we laughed until our stomachs ached! Then we went around the room and
each of us told our favorite Christmas memories
some were tear
jerkers, others were hilarious and some gave us great tradition ideas
to try with our families.
As appetizers, I served a Cheeseball Snowman, Pita Guacamole Christmas
Trees and Santa Salsa (just a jar of Chipotle Jelly mixed with fresh cut
mangos and some cilantro). I also offered hot apple cider (apple cider with
Red Hots added, just heated on the stove), coffee with Baileys or Kahlua
liqueur, wine, champagne and sodas.
I provided Christmas print, throw-away aluminum pans with plastic lids
for everyone to load up their cookies and also had a gift bag for each attendee
which included a Christmas scented square candle and two plastic Christmas
cookie cutters wrapped in ribbon.
Have a very Merry Christmas and please keep sharing!
