Good Morning Robin,
Here are my photos from my first Cookie Exchange. I actually co-hosted
with my best friend Jen Scroggins. We only had 4 ladies show up besides the
two of us, which was ok since it was the first one, and it was a little last
minute on whether we wanted to attempt it. We actually called ours a Christmas
Cookie/Dessert Exchange, as we didnt want to limit it to just cookies.
We required that a favorite or family traditional recipe be brought and something
new to that person that they had wanted to try but just never did. We had
several kinds of cookies, some bars, and some fudge and candies. This was
fun, because we all have those recipes that we think look good but are often
too afraid to try, or dont really have a reason to.
We played a few games, name that Christmas cookie, and the guests had
to dress Santa this was a search for Santas suit hidden
on my Christmas Tree, first one to find it, won. It was a great time and
we are planning to co-host again this year. We have already started to do
a little bit of planning, and shopping for door prize items and things to
use to send cookies home at the end of the party.
Thanks for all your inspiration and ideas.
